I have had a lot of inquiries to classes for 2016. Therefore, let me take a few minutes to tell you what is coming down the pike;
- First, the new laws will allow you to carry openly after January 1, 2016.
- I don’t really recommend this unless you are traveling in groups of 3 or more.
- If you want to carry openly, make sure you have a license, a good holster, and understand that you are now a target.
- You will not be allowed to carry openly in any other state just because you can carry openly in Texas…. you will need to check with that state before you go.
- Second, I am moving my facilities a few miles away from its current location. Therefore, things will be in a bit of confusion for a few months before I get settled.
- Third, the price of the training will be going up. This is for reasons beyond my control. I am not price fixing.
- The cost up till January 1, 2016 will be $90, so do not sign up on the website at this time.
- After January 1, 2016, the cost will be $125.
- If you look closely at the online payment option you will see that you could get the class for as little as $50 if you pay for the group in advance.
- I do not allow reduced pricing for a “Possible” group of 10+ unless you pay for the entire group up front.
- When you pay for a large group, you will receive coupons for all those students you paid for but did not show up. You can then resell them as you wish. YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND.
- If you are one that is interested in the Florida CHL training, know this;
- Yes, I can teach the Florida CHL program and the Florida License
- The training for the Florida License is still $125
- The training for the Florida License is still 5 hours (+/- 30min)
- The Florida License is not valid in many States (getting fewer by the day)
- The Florida License is Cheaper, but will not prepare you for what you need to know in Texas.
- Yes, you can get your Florida License, read all of what you need to know about Texas, and still be safe carrying in Texas – but other states might not be so easy for you.
